1. Installation

1.1. In order to use Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™ you have to have a copy of WinPCap installed on your computer. If you use the Banlist WinPCap is probably already installed.

1.2. The next step is to download Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™. You can get it at the download section on this page.

1.3. Save and extract Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™ anywhere on your harddisk, you will need WinRar or anything equivalent to extract it.

1.4. You are done, wasn't this easy? Now you can progress to the Configuration of Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™.

2. Configuration

2.1. All the things you need to configure can be found in one section of the loader:

Press the Options button to proceed to the configuration.

2.2. There are many different options, we will seperate the ones required and those who are not required to be set to run Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™.

Required Settings:

2.3. You only have to set your network adapter (Number 3), then everything should already work fine.

Not required Settings (Ordered by Numbers):

1: This will automatically check for updates on startup (Not recommended because it will slow down the startup, especially if the webspace is busy)

2: This will remember the window position when closing down the loader

3: This will get your packets without accessing your network adapter (if it doesn't work for you)

4: This is the experimental game interface. It can be accessed ingame by using the specified hotkey. It currently doesn't support the Opengl mode / XFire or Fraps. Use with caution :-)

5: This number should be constantly increasing (then you are recieving packets)

6: Incase you don't want your adapter to be automatically selected (because you are receiving lags or crashes) you can deselect this checkbox and select it manually

7: If anything goes wrong you can reset your settings here / or you can delete your .ini file

As you see, the configuration is very simple.

3. Usage

To use Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™ ingame you just have to let it run (it has to be properly configured).

We will seperate ingame usage from outgame usage.

3.1. Ingame usage:

3.1.1. Battle.net Games

Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™ can be used in Custom Games you hosted, always remember that. If you are not the host you can only use it to query the IP-Addresses of the people who are ingame.

The following commands are available when you are ingame (the map has been loaded) or in the game creation screen (where other players actually join your game)

The following ingame commands are available:

/vkick *part of the name*

This will kick a player which fits to the name

/varmageddon

Kicks all players who are currently in the game

/vfromall

Gathers the location from all players

/vfrom *part of the usernames*

Displays the location from all players containing the given part of the name in full length.

3.1.2. LAN Games

For LAN games, the ingame commands are not available.

Use the outgame controls. To kick use the player overview.

3.2. Outgame usage

You can access the "Player Overview" out of game by using the Loader:

When you opened Player overview you will get to the following screen:

When ingame this dialogue can be refreshed by either pressing "Refresh" (Number 2). It will show users and their corresponding IP's.

To kick someone just press the big "K" after their name.

This method of kicking also works on LAN/Hamachi-Games.

3.3. Visual Autorefresher

1. Here you can select the color the bots will have when they join your game

2. Here you can specify the bot name

3. When this option is enabled, only the first color and name will be used for all bots

4. Specifies the delay after which the game is automatically refreshed

5. Specifies the hotkey that is used to manually refresh the game

6. Check this to enable auto-refreshing (after the specified delay)

7. Check this to enable manual refreshing with your hotkey

3.4 Latency Reducer

If you have a fast connection, and the people who are in your game are from the same country, you can use this to reduce the delay.

Change the wanted latency with the slide bar (1.) and then apply the new latency by pressing (2.)

Try to find out what settings work best for you and post them on the forums.

If you want to know how it exactly works check this page

3.5 Healthbar Shower

Just check the options you want and press "Change Memory".

The health bars will then be automatically visible for you, this is the same thing as if you keep pressing your "ALT" key.

In 1.22 a healthbar shower got added to Warcraft itself (selectable in the options) but you cannot select whether your enemy or ally bars should be showed. Therefore this feature is still there.

3.6 Automode

The Automode allows you to automatically have your favourite gamemodes entered by Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™.

The DotA specific options can be found in the top right corner, you just have to check them, as you want them to be typed at the begin of the game. (See screenshot).

The special mode "Automatically write the gamemode", will try to detect the current gamemode by reading the gametitle ("DotA -aremid VCK on" => "-aremid"), and then automatically type it.

If you are curious about whether it properly detects your mode, look up the control window "Detected Gamemode".

Furthermore you can add your own custom rules, what to write at the begin of the game ( Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™ currently supports up to 30 rules ).

Each rule consists of a part of the mapname and what to write.

Examples:

Part of the Map "Uther Party"

Write "-mySpecialUtherMode"

To make Advanced Visual Custom Kick ™ progress the custom rules entered by you, you have to check "Enable custom rules".

The "Write to all" Checkbox allows you to specify whether the command should be written to your enemys and your allies or only to your allies.

3.7 Host Helper

The host helper is good, if you host unpopular maps, where it takes years for your game to be full.

If you enable it, it will look up whether your game is full for the specified delay you entered in the first Control field. If this is the case it will play the sound you specified to alert you. When you don't switch back to Warcraft, it will alert you again after the time you entered into the second control field has passed (enter 0 to disable further alerts).

You can use it to surf on the internet while waiting for your game to get full.

I recommend using this with the Banlist setting "Kick Downloaders" and with Autorefresh enabled.

3.8 Speed Starter

The Speed Starter can be exactly configured like the Delay Reducer. It specifies the delay before the game starts (The red numbers counting from 5 to 0)

If you select 0, your game will even start instantly.

You can use this to surprise your friends or to avoid countdown-leavers. Furthermore it will fasten things up.

The "Disable Cancel grey out" will disable the cancel button from getting grey and therefore will allow you to leave even after 3 seconds have passed.
