Warcraft 3 Patch Downloads - Warcraft Patch 1.25b, 1.25, 1.24e, 1.24d

Warcraft III Patch Downloads - If you only have Reign of Chaos installed, you will only need to download and run the Reign of Chaos Patch. If you have the Frozen Throne expansion pack installed as well, you will only need the Frozen Throne patch.

Warcraft Patches:
Warcraft Patch 1.24a, 1.24b, 1.24c, 1.24d, 1.24e

If your game is already patched to version 1.24, you will only have to install the upgrade patch version 1.24e. You can verify what version your game is by starting it up and looking at the bottom right hand corner. If you recently installed/reinstalled the game or have not patched the game in some time, you will want to download and install the full 1.24e Universal Patch.

Here are the Patch Notes for Warcraft 3 1.25

Balance Changes

Human
* The cost of the Ivory Tower(Buyable at Arcane Vault) changed from 30 gold and 20 wood to 50 gold and 30 wood.
* The cost of the Mechanical Critter(Buyable at Arcane Vault) changed from 50 gold to 20 gold.

Undead
* The mana cost of the Carrion Swarm changed from 110 to 90.

Night Elf
* The duration of the Cyclone changed from 20(6) seconds to 15(3) seconds(Hero).
* The hit points of Dryads changed from 435 to 450.

Orc
* The slow effect of the Orb of Lightning is removed.
* The hit points of the Healing Ward changed from 5 to 20.

Fixes
* The experience gained from the Tome of Experience changed from 150 to 75.
* Claws of Attack +12 is now known as Claws of Attack +9.
* Claws of Attack +9 is now known as Claws of Attack +6.
* Claws of Attack +6 is now known as Claws of Attack +3.
* Skeletons from the Book of the Dead lasts now 20 seconds instead of 120 seconds.
* The duration of Wand of the Wind's Cyclone effect changed from 10 (5.6) seconds to 15(3) seconds(Hero).

Warcraft 1.25 Patch Download

Warcraft III patch 1.25 is now available on the PTR. If you'd like to help us test out this patch and provide feedback, open up the game client and select the "Westfall (ClassicBeta)" gateway to begin downloading the latest patch. Once the download is complete, restart the game, log into Westfall, and you're set. (To resume playing on live servers, simply select your regular gateway and you will be reverted to the retail version of the game.)

For information on what's changed, be sure to check out the PTR patch notes listed below (we are aware the patch notes are not currently available in the patch details itself).

Fixes

• Warcraft III will now write its registry keys on launch.
  
  
• Widescreen (stretched) resolutions should now be available in the Video options.
  
  
• You can now purchase items from shops while Hexed.
  
  
• Scroll of Town Portal will no longer be consumed when casting fails when used at the same time that your Hero is Hexed.
  
  
• Hex will no longer extend the duration of Metamorphosis.
  
  
• Hex will no longer disable mana or health regeneration of Heroes.
  
  
• Wisps Detonate ability will no longer drain mana from Heroes while under the effects of Potion of Invulnerability.
  
  
• Fixed an issue where players were able to ally with opponents when alliances were locked ("share hack").
  
  
• A gold exploit with buildings has been fixed.

Please note that replays are incompatible between major game revisions. This means that 1.24e replays cannot be viewed when using the 1.25 version of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.
